Project Status

Project commenced in February 2006.

Project completed in October 2021.

Comprehensive Planning

Implemented under a DSP (Development Scheme Plan), the site is designated for CDA zone.  The URA had obtained a MLP (Master Layout Plan) approval in Oct 2009, which comprised with several residential blocks on top of a retail podium, providing commercial spaces, GIC facilities and also a public open space.

Open Space with Local Characteristics

When completed, there will be an internal street space across the main site which will be embraced by 2 commercial floors of local shops connected with a public open space and street network at grade. The POS, on one hand can act as a better foyer for the Jade market located at Tung Chau Street to bring about more synergy and compatibility with the communal activities within the district, on another hand will capture the history of the nearby Tung Chau Street Pier (now vanished to cater for the construction of the West Kowloon Corridor in 1990's) as a key element in the future landscape design.
