URA's staff offered gift packs of mooncakes and fruit to the elderly affected by its projects in Tai Kok Tsui for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

19/04/07 A milestone event for 200 rehabilitated buildings cum Best Rehabilitated Building Award Presentation Ceremony is held at Blake Garden, Sheung Wan in April 2007. The Secretary for Development, Mrs Carrie Lam, and the Chairman of the URA, Mr Barry Cheung, officiate at a ceremony to mark the completion of the project. 24/07/08 The Kowloon City District Advisory Committee holds its first meeting to discuss the issues relating to urban renewal.

After the announcement of two conservation projects (Prince Edward Road West/ Shanghai Street/Argyle Street), URA staff conduct a 3-day freezing survey for tenants and residents and the social services teams also provide counselling services to residents in need.

All practical suggestions and proposals collected in the consultative sessions on the adaptive re-uses of the 20 pre-war shophouses at Prince Edward Road West and Shanghai Street, will be submitted to the Town Planning Board for consideration.
