Local leaders and residents of the Sham Shui Po community gathered at a workshop jointly organized by URA's Sham Shui Po District Advisory Committee and Sham Shui Po District Council to explore possible ways forward for urban regeneration of the district as a blueprint for all concerned.

A milestone event for 200 rehabilitated buildings cum Best Rehabilitated Building Award Presentation Ceremony is held at Blake Garden, Sheung Wan in April 2007. Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands the Hon Michael Suen is the officiating guest.

The "New Face in Central" Exhibition organized by the Conservation Advisory Panel under the URA's Central & Western District Advisory Committee is held at the Western Market.  All shops participated in the event have long history in the Central and Sheung Wan.

URA's staff and their family members together with the Social Service Team clean up the common areas of the two residential buildings in the Kwun Tong Town Centre project for the new year.
