The project was commenced on 12 April 2013.
No objection to the project was received by the URA during the two-month publication period (12 April to 13 June 2013).
SDEV has considered the project and authorized the URA to proceed with the project on 26 September 2013.
S.16 application to allow commercial uses on 3/F and 4/F was approved by Town Planning Board in March 2017.
The commercial portion of the new development will be designated for the Sham Shui Po Design and Fashion Project in response to the initiatives of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau to nurture design and fashion talents and turn the district into a design and fashion landmark.
Targeted completion by 2023/2024.
The projected is implemented is accordance with the Urban Renewal Strategy (2011) which includes the flat-for-flat options to be offered as an alternative options to cash compensate to domestic owner-occupiers. They can consider cash compensation or using it to buy a new flat-for-flat in-situ in the new development or in the same district or in Kai Tak Development.
