The URA is committed to inspiring young people to explore urban renewal issues from multiple perspectives. Through collaboration with various organisations, the URA organises a wide range of educational and outreach activities, including visits to the Urban Renewal Exploration Centre and guided tours.

The URA also co-organises programmes with various educational institutions toURA x PolyU Igniting Social Innovation Competition 2026 encourage Hong Kong secondary school students to understand and discuss urban renewal topics. One such initiative is the URA x PolyU Igniting Social Innovation Competition 2026, jointly organised by the URA and the Department of Applied Social Sciences of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The competition provides students with training in artificial intelligence (AI), 360-degree panoramic video technology, and geospatial data, enabling them to conduct in-depth analyses of urban renewal issues and develop innovative, community-based proposals. By combining technological applications with place-based learning experiences, the programme aims to inspire students to actively participate in public affairs.
