Other Invitation for Expression of Interest

The Urban Renewal Authority (“Authority”) will operate the Lift Modernisation Subsidy Scheme (“LIMSS”), to provide technical support and financial support to building owners joining LIMSS. The Authority intends to appoint competent consultants to provide the technical support to buildings joining LIMSS. To have a better understanding on the engagement of consultancy services in the market, the building services engineering, or electrical and mechanical engineering consultancy firms are invited to submit the information for reference.

Interested consultancy firms shall duly complete and submit the "Reply Form" (click here) by fax to 2588 2542 or in an envelope marked “Provision of Standing Term Consultancy Services for the Lift Modernisation Subsidy Scheme” for the attention of Mr. Daniel Lee, Senior Manager of Building Rehabilitation Division, to the URA office at Unit 1001, 10/F, Tower 2, Cheung Sha Wan Plaza, 833 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon by 12:00 noon, 31 January 2019 (Thursday).

This invitation shall not in any way be construed as an offer of appointment or an invitation by the Authority to submit tenders. Should any person have any queries regarding the above, please contact Mr. Cheung on 2588 2676 during office hours (Mon - Fri: 8:45am - 12:30pm & 1:30pm - 6:00pm).

The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) invites persons / organisations to submit proposals for the following premises.

Any interested persons / organisations shall contact Mr. Wong at 2588 2799 during office hours for enquiries and obtaining the Form of “Proposals to Lease Properties-Commercial” (collectively as “Proposals” Form) and floor plan.  All Proposals should be submitted to URA by hand on or before 6:00 p.m. on 1 February 2019 (Friday).  Late submission will not be accepted by URA.  Site inspection can be arranged upon request.

This is only an invitation for proposals, and should not be treated as an offer by URA.  URA shall have the sole discretion to accept or reject any Proposals.

In determining the rental level for this project, URA would make reference to the market rental level and consider the limitation of historic building and other commercial/social factors.

Remarks:

  1. “As-is” handover condition; approximate Internal Floor Area for reference only, subject to on-site measurement.
  2. If the applicant plans to use the premises for Food and Beverage or other uses which may require application of licences, the applicant should include in the technical proposal: (i) how to satisfy licence requirements; and (ii) how to ensure the operation/works can satisfy the fit-out guidelines of the conservation building as per the attachment to the application form.
