Project commencement was gazetted on 28 July 2017.
The Secretary for Development (SDEV) has considered the project and the related information and authorized the URA to proceed with the project without any amendment on 13 March 2018. The SDEV’s decision was first published in the Gazette on 23 March 2018.
The URA has issued acquisition offers to owners to acquire the affected property interests on 14 May 2018. Cash compensation or rehousing to eligible tenants will be provided upon successful acquisition of the properties.
Targeted completion by 2026/27.
The projected is implemented is accordance with the Urban Renewal Strategy (2011) which includes the flat-for flat options to be offered as an alternative options to cash compensate to domestic owner-occupiers. They can consider cash compensation or using it to buy a new flat-for-flat in-situ in the new development in the same district, or at available site(s).
